What Precisely Is The Media?

Hello everybody!

Today in wananga we have been learning about what the media is. The media is the information we gain through different communicated or transmitted sources. For example, the information we gain from apps, messages, the internet and more are all called the media. I am going to show you the slide show I have completed in class and the website I used for this session.

Conclusion & Reflection –

In conclusion, I have learnt how to find out the creator and purpose of a media and what is the media. My favourite media is called messenger because you can use this media to connect with family or friends who live in another country or city. The hardest part for me in this class is finding out the creator and purpose of one of the media in the slide show. The reason why I find it hard is because I could not access the video. To finish this work, I honestly wrote down the truth that I could not access the video therefore I couldn’t answer the question. I enjoyed this class because it made me think like a detective and learn some of the details of the media that I usually don’t notice. I hope in the future we can do more work about learning subtle details that are important, but we don’t usually think about them too much.

Thank you for your time and patience,

What Are The Components Of Quality Blog Posts?

Hello everybody!

Today in wananga class we have been learning about how to create good quality blog posts and the components necessary to create it. In this class we have learnt that unique & interesting titles, categories & tags, digital learning objects and information about your learning are crucial for creating quality blog posts. I am going to show you two of the slide shows I have created in class and the websites I have used in this class.

The Work I Have Done –

In this class, I have created two slide shows in total. The first slide show is about how to identify the components in a blog post I have created and the second slide show is to understand what the components are and how to work with them.

First Slide Show –

Please click here or the image below to access the slide show about how to identify the required components in a blog.

Second Slide Show –

Please click here or the image below to access the second slide show about understanding the components and how to work with them.

The Websites I Used –

The website I used for this task is called the Cyber Smart Challenge created by Manaiakalani.

First Website –

The first website I used in this class was this website. This website teaches us about the task we are doing and what parts we need to be more conscious about.

Second Website –

The second website I used for my task was this website. This website shows more detailed information about the components of a quality blog and how to do it.

Conclusion & Reflection –

In conclusion, I have learnt how to create quality blog posts with the necessary components. The hardest part in this class for me was to understand the components of a quality blog post. To overcome this challenge, I read the website about the components extremely carefully and reread it multiple times. After doing that, I finally understood what the task is trying to say and the components of a good quality blog post. I enjoyed this class because this class has taught me how to create blog posts in a simple way instead of a difficult way that other websites usually explain. I hope in the future we can learn more about how to create high quality blog posts and make sure our blogs are up to standard.
